About The Blog

Getting in shape and staying fit is hard work. For some of us, it's fun. For others, it's a pain in the ass.

I'm not a dietitian, a doctor, a super athlete, or a trainer. I'm a normal dude who can tell a good story.  I work 9 to 5 and fight the same battle that most of you fight everyday. The battle to eat right, stay in shape, and live a healthy lifestyle.

This blog discusses topics on fitness, training, and everything that encompasses the challenge of staying fit, from the vantage point of a typical, working, American dude. Topics like, "why getting out the door to exercise is so damn hard", "why junk food tastes so good and health food so...boring", "the farting etiquette on a treadmill" and "what it's REALLY like to run a marathon or race a triathlon" are explored.

The name "Fried Fitness" (coined by my comedy writing friend Sean) is obviously ironic. It cuts right to the point of this blog. We Americans love our fried food, including yours truly. But as most of us know by now, staying in shape and exercise is required if you want to try and live a long healthy life.

Come join me in my quest to obtain the ultimate goal...to get in shape. We'll try and solve this puzzle of weight loss, eating right, and exercise, all while having fun and telling some great stores.
